The pictures were about: first Oil Company, fishing activities and samples of living. Faisal and Saif shared the work by dividing slides between them. Saif talked first and Faisal ended the presentation. The slides were not colorful because they were black and white. Information on the slides was too much but the presentation was good.

Goals of the meeting :
The purpose of this meeting is to present the HCT to students, so they can know what facilities that they have in order to improve studying in HCT.
Moreover, how to increase their English language skills by letting them read English books because this is the key to improving learning English and to raise their level as high as they can.

Reflection:
I am the secretary who watched and listened at the meeting and I wrote the important points. The meeting was well done because of the organization of the meeting. I learned that discussion gives us hints and answers. We learned that a meeting must be working co-operatively in a group. The group consists of chairman, secretary and participant.

My friend Saoud
My name is Abdulla Khaled in this moment I am going to introduce my cute friend. His name is Saoud Abdulla. He's from the UAE. He was born in Abu Dhabi which is the capital city of the UAE. He has a big family which consists of twenty brothers. When Saoud has free time, he likes to read religious books and buy books. His leisure sport is football. Saoud likes to travel in only one place which is Oman with his family because he likes to visit his relatives there. Saoud likes the rules in HCT. He thinks everything is well-organized. His negative feeling about HCT is that the college is too crowded. I can see saoud is a hard–working student because of the high marks is his tests. I think he is a smart boy because of the way he studies and memorizes.

Some people do not care about infection of water and they only think about how to get money. Many manufacturers throw their waste in rivers and as a result humans get many diseases such as cancer. Moreover polluted water from industries can cause death.www.environment.gov.au/ Although many poor people drink tainted water they do not understand the danger for their health. Scientists say that human bodies contain 80 percent of water. Imagine if the earth had no water. There would be no life on earth. Earth is covered by 70 percent of water . Every year more than 3.570 million people die because of diseases caused from unhealthy water. Human bodies take impure water by washing and showering.

In India crops require 5-10 times the amount of water to produce the same amount of food so they use a lot of water to grow crops. That money is enough for one person a year. There are 7600 community-built water harvesting projects in India that affect the living environment and living creatures. People in India try to protest against Coca-Cola Company. In America it is estimated that three out of four Americans drink bottled water. Nestle company market had produced 70 brands of bottled water. In South Africa the water in the river is most polluted so they use water tablets for cleaning water but the problem is a lot of people cannot afford the water tablet. Dirty water kills people much more than AIDS and wars. All of these factors lead poor people to drink water and after that death is waiting for them. Microsoft office is computer software that is used to organize, analyze and calculate data coherently. There are three main types of Microsoft office such as, Microsoft office world, Microsoft office excel and Microsoft office PowerPoint. Microsoft office is designed to correct and analyze words for writing essays and other writing processes while Microsoft excel is used to calculate numbers automatically when you enter a formula. It is also used in business companies. Microsoft power point is made for presentations and projects.
Microsoft version 1.0 was published in 1991 while the latest version of Microsoft is 2007. Microsoft had stolen some of Mac software and that helped their company to be better known in the world. The owner of Microsoft Company is Bill Gates and he was the wealthiest man in the world. He was born on October 28, 1955. Bill Gate's fortune is $50 billion so he was the number one business man without competitors.( www.wikipedia.org/Bill). Microsoft office is used in universities, companies and schools. Microsoft office is so important it has been taught in many universities as official course material. You can buy Microsoft office CD's in the market. Each CD for Microsoft office only costs 100AED.

Bugatti and Porsche 911 Turbo
Most people nowadays like to drive cars. There are several famous companies that produce cars such as Bugatti, Porsche and Nissan. Cars are known everywhere in the world. A long time ago people used to go from one place to another by walking but today everything has changed. In my essay I am going to write about important similarities and differences between the Bugatti and Porsche 911 Turbo cars.
The first similarity is that both cars are famous cars. Those two cars are ranked top cars and are designed as fashionable cars. Another similarity is that both cars are expensive. This means many people cannot afford those cars. The Bugatti costs $1.6 million while the Porsche 911 Turbo costs $137,360 to 140,780. The last similarity is that both cars are made in Europe. The Veyron and the Porsche 911 Turbo are made in Germany.Although there are similarities between the Bugatti and the Porsche 911 Turbo, there are also differences. The first difference is that the Bugatti top speed is much faster than the Porsche 911 Turbo. This means the top speed of the Bugatti can reach 253 mph while the Porsche 911 Turbo can only reach 192mph. Another difference is that Bugatti's horse power is much more powerful as
opposed to the Porsche 911 Turbo which is the weaker. The Bugatti's horse power is 1001 hp while the Porsche 911 Turbo is only 180 hp. The final difference is that the Bugatti weight is more than the Porsche 911 turbo. The weight of the Bugatti is 5000 lbs but Porsche 911 turbo weighs 3650 to 370 lbs.(http://www.porsche.com/)
